Vocational Guidance
Approach
Vocational guidance is a learning process that enables self-discovery and the identification of life goals. I invite you to discover your true vocation. There are four fundamental elements in the vocational guidance process that we should explore when choosing your study options:
- Let’s determine your level of general intelligence.
- Let’s uncover your vocational skills, aptitudes, and interests.
- Let’s identify your areas of aversion.
- Let’s analyze your results.
What is the purpose of vocational guidance?
Vocational guidance allows you to know yourself better and discover your true vocational interests with the aim of identifying professions, fields, careers, and projects that align with your profile. Additionally, it helps you avoid making mistakes when choosing your future profession.
Objectives of vocational guidance
Some of the objectives provided by vocational guidance include:
- Providing tools for you to get to know yourself better.
- Providing advice related to fields or areas that align with your profile.
- Helping you analyze your fears and how they limit you from making decisions.
- Providing information on job profiles.
To decide your future profession, you need to know what you want to be, what you want to do, and what you want to have.
- Be: How do you envision yourself in the short, medium, and long term?
- Do: What activities do you enjoy, and what are you naturally good at?
- Have: What do you want to obtain, and how do you plan to achieve it?
